Nutrisystem Week 19 Update + A Day Of Nutrisystem Food | Emily Reviews
What a day of Nutrisystem looks like

I am a Nutrisystem nation blogger. All opinions are my own.

I know that when most people consider a diet plan they want to know what the day-to-day will really look like. This week I am sharing an entire day of Ryan’s Nutrisystem meal plan to show you what it really looks like. Ryan is on the Men’s Uniquely Yours plan. His plan framework looks like this:

  • Nutrisystem breakfast with a PowerFuel
  • Morning snack (a PowerFuel and a SmartCarb)
  • Nutrisystem Lunch entree + PowerFuel and SmartCarb
  • Afternoon snack (Nutrisystem provided snack/dessert)
  • Nutrisystem Dinner entree
  • After dinner snack (Nutrisystem provided snack/dessert).

The plan also recommends four servings of veggies per day.

Powerfuels are protein sources that are around 100 calories each. They often include items like yogurt, cheese, an egg, or lean meats.

SmartCarbs are fiber sources that are around 100 calories each and score low on the glycemic index. SmartCarbs are usually fruits or whole-grains such as raspberries, a banana, or a whole grain roll.

Here was what Ryan ate yesterday. His powerfuels and smartcarbs usually have more variety than yesterday did – we are low on groceries at the moment which is why he repeated some items.

Nutrisystem breakfast

Breakfast – chocolate muffin provided by Nutrisystem. Powerfuel choice was a scrambled egg.

Nutrisystem Morning snack

AM Snack – Banana and a low-fat cheese stick.

Nutrisystem lunch

Lunch: Nutrisystem soup entree, low-fat cheese stick and a banana.

Nutrisystem red velvet whoopie pie snack

Afternoon snack: Red velvet whoopie pie (from Nutrisystem)

Nutrisystem dinner stuffed chicken breast

Dinner: Broccoli + cheese stuffed breaded chicken breast. (Nutrisystem provided).

Nutrisystem cheese puffs

After dinner snack: Nutrisystem Cheese puffs.

This weeks results: Ryan weighed in at exactly 218 pounds this week. He is down .5 a pound since his last weigh in and has lost a total of 40.5 pounds since beginning Nutrisystem.

Im impressed!! Thats a nice steady amount of food throughout the day!! I feel like the dinner needs a veggie side or something?!?! Maybe?!

I’m also doing Nutrisystem and I’m happy to report that the plan allows you to eat unlimited vegetables! So you can add as many vegetables as you want. I’m not sure Ryan did or if he just didn’t photograph them.

Thanks for spelling out the daily food intake and what you eat! I’m still thinking about trying Nutrisystem. Thanks and congrats to your hubby on his weight loss!

Thanks for showing us real life updates! It’s so helpful to see the real food people are eating and what the Nutrisystem-provided things look like. Everything looks great and it’s actually quite a bit of food. I’d need veggies and salad with dinner, though. Congrats to Ryan on 40+ lbs lost!

I need tons of fiber and fluids for my IBS since I’m trying to cope without meds. Good that you’re allowed the low cal veggies. I take lots of probiotics so hopefully they allow those. I have some with added fiber so it also helps you stay fuller, longer. Keep it up Ryan!
