Woombie Original swaddler

Woombie sent me swaddles for my gift guide. All opinions are my own.

About three and a half weeks ago my sister gave birth to my nephew Royce. He is healthy and adorable and I am still shocked at how TINY he seems. It had only been two years since a baby was brought into my family but somehow I always manage to forget how truly teeny tiny they really are at first! He loves to be held and cuddled and when sleeping he likes to be swaddled.

Woombie is a brand of swaddlers that are designed to make your little one feel tight and  snug without requiring you to do “origami” with a blanket. Woombies are shaped like a peanut and (for the original design) your baby’s arms and legs are all in the same compartment of the sleeper which makes them easy to put on newborns who are still in that phase where they want to stay curled up all the time.

Woombies are firm enough to make your baby feel snug inside, but the material stretches nicely at the same time. So if your baby gets wiggly or needs to readjust they material will let them do so.

If your baby prefers to have their arms or legs free while their other portion snug, Woombie has convertible Woombie’s that let you keep their arms or legs free. If you live in a climate that stays very warm or very cool, there is the Woombie Air (for hot climates) and the Woombie winter (a quilted swaddle) to help meet those temperature needs.

Royce is only 7 pounds right now so for Christmas I am giving him a newborn Woombie (good for 5-13 pound babies) and a Woombie Big Baby for 14-19 pounds so he has one to grow into.

If you have a baby on your list who likes being swaddled be sure to check out Woombie!
