Back in November I moved into my first home that had washer and dryer hook-up. I have lived in a few different apartments and rental homes since I was 17,two had a laundry room int he basement that was shared by all apartments in the complex. The duplex that I lived in didn’t have a hook-up at all, so we had to use a laundry mat.
I was excited about moving to this new house for several reasons, but towards the top of my list was being able to have my own washer and dryer. We have been here almost six months now and I still feel thankful each time I do laundry that I am not paying coins to make the machine work, and that I’m not waiting around at the laundry mat anymore. Laundry has never been my favorite chore, but it’s a lot less work when I can use it whenever I have 5 minutes to load up the machine, and I can go about doing other chores, working on the blog or just relaxing between loads instead of sitting in a hard chair at the laundry mat.

Wow I would sure enter to win this if I didn’t live in an apartment! I don’t think I could afford the combo otherwise. Maytag is one of the most reliable brands out there and these look top of the line. I like their service commitment too.
