I have never been much of a dress girl. Once in a while, I will wear a maxi skirt, but it is pretty rare for me to wear a dress. This summer, I decided to step outside my comfort zone to get a maxi dress. I had a pretty specific idea of the design and color I wanted. I found my dress at Toad & Co. For my review, Toad & Co sent me their Sarita Dress.
A Sarita Dress is a maxi dress made with a soft silky blend of organic cotton, modal, and spandex. The top of the bodice has bra-friendly wide tank-top straps. The waistband of the dressed has a light rouched design that flatters all figures. The top of the dress is a navy and white chevron pattern that draws the attention upwards. The skirt of the dress is solid navy that helps to minimize attention. The Sarita Dress can easily be dressed up or left casual.
I am so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone. I love the Sarita Dress! It is so comfortable. It has a really relaxed feel to it, while still looking pulled together. We are going on a road trip this weekend. I am taking the Sarita Dress with me. I know it will be perfect for play time and dinner out.
In case you are wondering how it launders, I have worn and washed the Sarita Dress several times; it still looks new. I had very minimal shrinking, if any.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I wear a lot of blue and while and this is a great classic pattern. I don’t wear maxi dresses so much here in California since it’s so hot but wore them more in the Midwest.

I’ve always struggled with body issues. I felt comfortable in only baggy t-shirts and jeans. It wasn’t until I was 18 when I decided to go out of my comfort zone and take a walk on the feminine side. I bought my first dress and honestly I don’t know why I hadn’t worn one sooner. It was a Maxi and I I loved it. And while I was more of the quite type it really helped me branch out. I had confidence. This dress here looks super comfortable and the style is effortlessly classic.
