Simply personalized special gifts

Simply Personalized sent product to me for our holiday gift guide. All opinions are my own.

I was about 11 years old when my mom discovered some eBay store that created personalized air-brushed t-shirts. She had one made for me that included a volleyball, my name and my number from my team. The school I attended didn’t have a budget for customized uniforms. There was just one set of uniforms and they were re-used year after year. So, I was excited to have my own customized volleyball shirt that had my name on it. I wore it for a few years and still have it packed away as a keepsake.

That first experience with a personalized gift really stuck with me. As a result, I always keep my eye out for personalized gifts. I know how they can make a gift feel so special and unique, and I love that.

SimplyPersonalized.com is a website that makes gifts for people of all ages, and for all kinds of occasions. Everything they sell can be customized in some way, usually with a name but some in more detailed ways as well.

I have a 13-year-old sister who is at that in-between age of not playing with toys anymore, but not really being into older teen stuff yet either. She’s tough to shop for right now. She loves swimming in the summer, so I got her a personalized beach towel. Her name is Jorden, so while her name itself isn’t uncommon, the spelling is a bit unusual. She has no chance of being able to find those pre-made ornaments, pens, etc with her name on it so personalized gifts are extra special for her.

Simply Personalized beach towel

The personalized beach towel is generously sized at 35″ by 60″. It’s terry velour which is really soft, and the towel is available in a variety of colors. You can also pick the thread color. I went with pink/white striped towel with silver embroidery. I know she will love it.

simply personalized character books for kids

For the younger kids in my family, I went with some Simply Personalized children’s books. These are available in several popular characters. I got Dora or my 3-year-old niece, Paw Patrol for one of my 6-year-old nephews, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle book for my other 6-year-old nephew. Each book asks several questions including the child’s name, hometown, address, friends’ names and more. I didn’t want the kids’ addresses in the book so I put in 1234 main street as a generic option. I really liked being able to add friend’s names. I was able to add in the first names of the kids’ siblings and cousins so that if the story is read as a group the siblings don’t get left out of the story. For my two 6-year-old nephews they are both in the early phases of reading and recognize their names and their siblings’ names so I know they will be excited the first time they come across their name in a book with their favorite characters.

I have DVDs of all three of these faves and they never get old. I love personalized gifts so I’m sure the receiver will love them too. I especially like to personalize the dog’s towels so they don’t get mixed up with the human’s!
