I am just going to come out and say it…I hate drinking water. I know how good it is for me, but I just don’t like it. I have been known to go the entire day with only drinking eight ounces of water. I am not filling up on soda or other sugary drinks, I just don’t drink anything. Terrible, I know!

This summer, I have decided to REALLY try to do better with my water intake. Of course, I went straight to Pinterest for ideas on how to make my water more exciting. I took a few suggestions, combined them and came up with a pretty tasty combination.

Ingredients-
Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Unfiltered With Mother
Fresh Ginger
Cheyanne Pepper
Organic Lemon
Pure Stevia

Directions-
In a 2 quart container, mix 2-3 TBSP Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Unfiltered With Mother, about an inch of ginger root peeled and thinly sliced (more or less based on your tastes), a lemon juiced, a tsp of Cheyanne pepper (again, more or less based on your taste preferences), and a TBSP of Pure Stevia. Once all of the ingredients are in the 2-quart container, add ice, water, and stir.

I am not going to sugarcoat it, this drink takes some getting used to. After a couple weeks, I find that I now crave this drink. It is so refreshing and I like knowing that I am doing good things for my body.

Nutrisystem update- I have been on Nutrisystem for about 10 months. My numbers have stalled a bit, but I continue having non-scale victories. I am down another notch on my belt, have more stamina and am better able to focus. I am hoping that drinking more water will help get those numbers moving again!

    I like your ‘mix’ recipe up there. Yes, I will drink water, I do have to work on it though as besides my morning coffee unless I am very hot I wont drink nearly as much as I should.
    Your recipe has lots of things they say are good for weight loss from the pepper (which I cant do) to the vinegar which I like. think it would actually taste good.
