In my words…
I was given 4 skoy cloths to review. They are a totally new thing to me, as I had only ever used paper towles, wash cloths or sponges in the past. Never anything close to this. There were several things I’ve enjoyed about skoy cloths. One thing I really like is I can wet half of the cloth and leave the other half dry – and then wash a counter or table with the wet part, and in the same swipe the other half that is dry dries it. In the past, I would use a wet paper towel and a dry one, or have a wet wash cloth and then a dry papertowel. So I liked that a lot.
Also, I made ramen noodles in the microwave, but the bowl I used was too small and the soup boiled over onto the glass tray in the microwave. So I decided to try the skoy cloth and it absorbed everything into the cloth, instead of having to use multiple paper towels that would drip all over between the microwave and the sink.
The thing that bummed me out a little bit was it said that the cloths each last for the length of 15 paper towels, which doesn’t seem like very much to me, but I’ve only used one skoy cloth so far and it hasn’t quit working yet or anything, and the noodle situation i talked to you about would have required using 5 or 6 paper towels at least, so I think it’s already lasted through more than 15 paper towels worth.
*Edit* I was corrected on the above issue – the cloths last through 15 ROLLS of paper towels, not 15 paper towels – which makes much more sense! haha.
