I love candles and making my house smell great. Who doesn’t? I also love to give candles as gifts because almost everyone loves a great candle. I often give candles to my sisters and other women or teen girls who end up on my Christmas list. I was sent several awesome smelling products to review from bridgewater candle company. One item I received was a box of spiced cider scented tea lights. I absolutely LOVE apple cider and these tea lights smell amazing! I don’t usually have a lot of need for tea light sized candles, but I have found that they have a few benefits. They are of course really small so they tend to burn really evenly, and the entire candle gets used, which is rare with larger candles. I also like how they are tiny so they don’t get used long enough to turn the sides of the container black like larger candles tend to do. I’ve had the box of tea lights for about 3.5 weeks now and am only about half way through the box even though we have used them pretty regularly. There are 12 in each box, and I think they are a good deal at 8.00 a box.  There are more than 40 scents to choose from for the tea lights! They have a burn time of 5-6 hours.

I was also sent a decorative reed diffuser that is scented as silent night. I’m sure you’re probably asking yourself what does silent night smell like? Well, it’s pretty hard to describe, but it does have a ‘holiday’ like scent to it, and Ryan and I both agree that it’s a very pleasant scent, we just can’t put our finger on what it smells like. The websites description for silent night is “Fresh, crisp Jasmine and Lily adorned with vanilla, amber and powdery smooth sandalwood.”I had a reed diffuser in the past and it was less than half the size of this one, and barely let out any scent. That’s not the case with the bridgewater candle company’s reed diffuser! It’s generously sized without being ‘too big’. It has a nice, pleasing shape to the bottle that would fit in with most any decor. This would be a great gift idea for adults or teens! The reed diffuser is available in over 35 scents, and retails for 30.00. Lasts for up to 4 months.

I was also sent two small jar candles. I received frosted berry, and apple pie scents. I have a huge soft spot for apple pit scented anything and these smell so authentic it’s amazing! I first lit the apple pie candle one morning when I was up before Ryan. When he woke up he asked why I was making a pie so early in the morning, especially a week before thanksgiving. That tells you how real it smells! Ryan’s personal favorite out of the items we received is the frosted berry scent. He has burned it several times and it’s only about 1/4 used up. The jar candles at bridgewater candle company can make you feel great about your holiday shopping, as well. I love giving gifts to my loved ones, and wish I could do more to donate to the needy especially during the holidays. When you buy a jar candle from bridgewater candle company you get the best of both worlds, because each jar candle that is bought feeds 1 child for 1 day. When you buy a small jar candle you get to choose from over 40 scents! They are made out of a natural soy blend and have a burn time of 65-85 hours. Small jar candles retail for 13.00

I was also sent a large jar candle in cookie jar scent. The cookie jar scent is just as authentic as the other smells, I love how real it smells! When you buy a large jar candle you help feed one child for one day. The large jar candles burn for 140-160 hours and retail for 20.00. When you buy a large jar candle you get to pick from more than 40 scents!

The last item I received for review was the special edition feed a child candle. The net proceeds for each feed a child candle will feed one child for one week. The feed a child candle has a unique smell that is a combination of several scents that I can’t really describe. The websites description is “Bergamot, Lotus Petals, White Roses and Orange Flowers.” It does smell really good though. The candle burns for 50-60 hours and retails for 20.00.
