If you have little ones who are interested in animals, science or nature you have to check out Nature Pavilion. Their huge selection of animal and science related toys is really impressive. One of my favorite items is their raise an animal kits. They have kits for growing earthworms, tadpoles, ants ladybugs and more. Most any kid would enjoy watching an animal grow. They also have books, dissecting kits, pages and pages of stuffed animals of all sorts, and toy animal replicas. For review, I was sent a toob of toy animal replicas. Nature Pavilion has several toobs with different themes of animals, such as their dino toob, shark toob, horse toob and more. I know my niece would LOVE the horse toob, she simply can’t get enough of horses. I have a few nephews who are dinosaur addicts who would love the dinosaur toob as well. The toob I received is the north american wildlife toob. The toob contains 12 animals. I like this set because some of the animals are rarely seen in children’s books and so it’s a chance to introduce the animals to young children. For example, the set has a ram, a mountain goat, a buffalo and an elk. These animals were completely foreign to my 4 year old niece. However, the toob also includes some animals that are often talked about in my area and she has seen, such as the raccoon and the deer. These are great for kids interested in animals, my niece loves to make animals into human-like characters and make up scenarios so she has had a blast with these. She had a good collection of animals but they were all of the common animals such as an elephant, giraffe, penguin, bear, etc. It’s not easy to find an elk toy! These would also be great for school projects. The animals are lead and phthalates free! Overall I think these are a great set of toys and are a great price, the toob contains 12 animals and retails for 9.99.
