I’ve grown fond of the gumdrop pacifiers that hospitals send home with new parents. They have two small holes on either side of baby’s mouth, and I learned that they make great ‘holding spots’ for two fingers, to hold the pacifier in a babys mouth. It’s so frustrating when baby wants the pacifier, yet sucks on it so hard that it pops out of their mouth. Then, their fine motor skills haven’t developed enough for baby to retrieve the pacifier. So if you’re like me, you wind up finding those two holes and holding on. You can’t see it real well, but I fell asleep holding in my nephews pacifier a few years back. Okay, I know you can’t tell at all, but I promise I was, and it’s a cute picture so I wanted to share anyway. Wubbanub is an innovative product to help solve pacifier drama for babies until they gain the fine motor skills to put a pacifier in and out of their mouth on their own. Wubbanubs are small stuffed animals that attach to the pacifier, so baby can hold the stuffed animal in place, which will keep the pacifier from falling. Genius! The pacifiers are PVC, BPA and Phthalate free, too!
Wubbanub has generously donated 1 wubbanub for my march of dimes silent auction.
