Swaddling is great when you find something that really works for you and your baby. I’ve heard many moms complain about how their baby unravels the blanket so quickly, so they have to be re-wrapped all the time. That’s where Woombie comes to the rescue. Woombie is a unique type of swaddling blanket that is much like footed pajamas, except without the feet and arm holes. You lay baby in and zip it up, without the frustration of the baby being able to undo the swaddle. The material has some give to it, allowing baby to stretch and move somewhat. The woombie comes in several sizes, the smallest woombie starts fitting babies from 3lbs on up, and the largest woombie fits babies as big as 25lbs. In addition to the traditional woombie, there is the summer woombie, which is a lighter material, the organic woombie, the houdini woombie and others. Woombie has generously donated a woombie for auction, in benefit of march of dimes.

To enter, leave a comment stating your bid. Bidding can start as low as .01. If you aren’t the first bidder, please make sure that your bid is higher than the previous bid. This auction is open to the US, and on April 26th at noon EST bidding will end. Whoever placed the highest bid will be asked to make a donation in the amount of their bid, via the widget in my sidebar. The widget accepts paypal and credit cards as payment. Once the donation has been placed, I’ll gather the winners information and send it to Woombie, who will ship out the prize.
