I’m a small person – just 5′ tall. This makes buying various items of clothing difficult. Pants are nearly impossible to find with a 27 inch inseam. With pants though, the easy fix is to have them hemmed. Bra’s are another difficult thing to find that fits right, and there’s no way to ‘fix’ a poor fitting bra. I have a small cup size, but it’s easy to find my size in department stores. However, most bra brands have a set width between the cups on a bra, whether the bra is a 48DD or a 32A, it has the same distance between cups. This is the main reason why bra’s don’t seem to fit me right. Bra’s with underwires that cover the side and underside of my chest, don’t provide coverage in the right spots, due to the gap between the cups. Itty Bitty Bra is a company that specializes in petite bra’s. They offer bra’s in cup sizes aa-b, in band sizes 32-38. I had never owned a bra made by a petite lingerie company, so I was excited to try out an itty bitty bra. I selected the couture bra polka dot for my review and when it came I was impressed with how cute it looked in person. The bra appeared more flat than my other bras, which is because the underwire doesnt extend up the entire side of the chest. Instead the underwire goes under the chest only. I loved the small lace detail around the top of the bra, and the cute little gem between the cups. The cups are MUCH closer together than my regular bras, the cups almost touch each other. When I tried it on it felt much different than other bras. This was a comfortable bra! That’s a rare find for me. Typically my bras seem to have pressure around the band and on the underside and sides from the underwire. This bra didn’t seem to pull from any given direction. Instead the bra naturally fell into place on my body and hold in place. The bra provided much better coverage for me due to the cups being closer together. The band has four horizontal hooks, which is more than I had ever seen before on a bra, allowing for the band of the bra to have a better fit than other bras because its more adjustable. The shoulder straps are thin and easy to adjust, and can be adjusted for the entire length of the shoulder strap, again allowing for the bra to truly be customized to fit you. The itty bitty bra company is a great option for those who are 32aa-38b.
