We ran to walmart to get some “gotta have it” things and get some coupon items as well. I got other things but I wanted to show off the items I got great deals on.
14 packages of ham (.57 each – .55 on 2= .30 each or 4.20 OOP for 14)
6 bags of ricola cough drops. (1.67 – 1.50 = .17 each or 1.02 OOP for 6)
4 packs of gum (1.28 each -1.00 = .28 each or 1.12 for 4)
10 lbs hamburger for 1.70/lb = 17.00 for 10lbs.
4 sodas 1.33 each = 5.32 for 4.
3 boxes zatarains (1.67 – 1.00 off of 3 = 1.34 each or 402 for 3)
4 bags of razors (1.97 each – 6.00 off 2 = 1.03 over each = 4.12 in overage for 4).
2 dulcolax (1.97 each – 2.00 q = .03 in overage each, or .06 in overage for 2)
So I spent 28.32 OOP and saved 30.01. The zatarains and soda weren’t great prices. The zatarains in the pasta type is only sold at walmart in my area and we don’t go to walmart much so I wanted to grab it while I was there.

Which stores do you have in your area? If you have say, a meijer store i’d search for “couponing at meijer 101” and read up. Then just read up for every store that is close to you. You might be surprised which stores are best to use coupons at. In my area, walmart is cheaper than meijer most the time, but seems how meijer releases meijer coupons, and accepts manufacturer coupons, you can use 2 coupons per item. So when you use coupons its usually better to shop at meijer than walmart, which is why we rarely go to walmart. But walmart is good for free items sometimes, they just don’t release walmart coupons so you can’t use 2 coupons per item and they don’t have a weekly sale flyer like most stores, which is a bummer. You did a great job! I’ve been trying to get that deal on the razors for 2 weeks, but my Walmart has been out of stock every time.

yeah i had checked once for it but they were out of stock. I would have gotten more as i had six of the insert coupons that were 2.00 off any 1 and there were at least 40 in stock, but i noticed the coupons say “no cash will be reimbursed if product value exceeds coupon value”. So I think that people who are using the insert coupons for it, shouldn’t be as the store won’t get $ back from the manufacturer. I hadn’t seen that on a coupon before though so maybe im misreading it? Idk. So i just used the two printable q’s i had that were 6.00 off 2. The bags also have coupons inside, so that was just an added bonus :).
