SmartLab Toys knows that kids learn best through play. They offer around 50 products that encourage exploration, creativity and fun.

For our review, we received the Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio. The Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio allows you to design and share fabric jewelry including rings, bracelets, necklaces, belts, and hair accessories. Enclosed in the kit is design book, snap maker, 25 domes & backs, 5 necklace & bracelet snaps, 2 snap rings, necklace hook and clasp, charm attachment, 16 fun fabric circles, ribbon, birthstone gems, glue, and an instruction sheet.

The Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio has won the Disney’s FamilyFun T.O.Y award, National Parenting Center Seal of Approval award, and the Creative Child Preferred Choice award, so you know it must be good!

The girls and I sat down one afternoon for some jewelry making fun. We laid out all the Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio materials and let our creative juices start to flow. The girls (ages 3 and 5 years old) quickly picked-up on the process of laying the fabric circle into the snap maker along with the dome and back piece. It was a lot of fun watching them mix and match patterns along with different textured ribbons. They had a great time making rings, bracelets, necklaces, and ponytail holders.

My only wish was that the Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio had more bases; with only 5 bases, it limits the number of pieces that you can use at any one given time…yes, you can change them out but, my girls liked playing dress-up wearing all of their creations.
