Breastfeeding my baby was very important to me. I was lucky enough not to run into too many difficulties. My daughter is now 11 months old and I am still breastfeeding her many times a day. After 11 months, we are still both enjoying the experience but there is one thing I could definitely live without: plain boring nursing bras!

Why is it so difficult to find nursing bras that are functional and comfortable and yet pretty? Why shouldn’t nursing bras have the same lace and ruffles as regular bras? Luckily for me, pretty nursing bras and panties do exist and Luna Maternity & Nursing carries them!

As I explained before, I am currently nursing my little one so Natalie kindly sent me the Seraphine’s St. Tropez Maternity and Nursing Bra and Panty in black.

First of all, I’m super excited about the color and the lace on this set. Finally, maternity/nursing underwear that looks as good as it feels! The fabric is really soft against my skin. It’s made of 92% polyamide (Nylon) and 8% Elastane so the fabric is just stretchy enough to give me the perfect fit that I want.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see the bra has not 2, not 3 but 6 rows of hooks and eyes which means throughout your pregnancy and after baby is born, you can easily adjust the bra to your changing body. This is one of my favorite features because, let’s face it, our bodies do change and it can get costly if you have to buy many different bras during and after your pregnancy.

Now let’s talk about comfort and support! I have to say that I was a little unsure about wearing a bra without any padding and underwire. I have only been wearing molded underwire bras for as long as I can remember because I thought it would give me more support and therefore be more comfortable. Well now I know my assumption was wrong: not only is this bra super comfortable but it also gives me good support! I like that the design allows me to wear a v-neck top and show a little bit of skin without having to worry about the bra showing.

The straps are just wide enough that they don’t dig into my skin without being too large. That also adds to the comfort factor of this bra. I actually forget that I’m it when I have it on.

As far as nursing goes, the nursing clasps are easy to open and close with one hand so breastfeeding with this bra is a breeze. Because the cups aren’t molded, they are easier to pull down than other nursing bras I have.

The panty is also very comfortable. I like that the wide lace trim around the top is stretchy. There’s a small elastic band sewn around it to make sure the lace stays in place and doesn’t fold or roll down when you’re wearing it. There’s a bit of ruching on the back side which gives the panty an extra bit of sexiness.
