My goal with bras has always been to find ones that fit well, feel comfortable, offer support, and if possible, don’t look “granny”. In a way that doesn’t seem like a lot to ask, but of course, it is!
Recently I was sent some bras from LUCKMEEY which is a brand that is available on Amazon. They say their bras are “cloud-soft”, gentle on skin and breathable.
For many years of my life, I thought having a traditional wired bra was essential for getting a good overall shape. In the last few years, I’ve realized that unwired bras have come a long way since I was a preteen and first trying them out. Or, maybe I just tried bad quality ones when I was younger, I’m not sure! Regardless, wires are not essential for a nice amount of support or a good shape anymore and I love that because they can be so much more comfortable.

I was sent two styles of the LUCKMEEY bras. The Deep V Mesh, and the Wave Bra. The wave bra is a full-coverage bra that has a wavy edge to it, hense the name. This bra felt comfortable to me at first, but with prolonged wear I found that the upper sides rubbed into my armpit. This is a really common problem for me with more full-coverage bras. I am only 5’1″ and based on my experiences with bras “digging in” to my armpits or “riding up” too far into my armpits, I assume I have a shorter ribcage than other women? The height difference in these two styles looks really minimal – and it is. Yet, it somehow makes a difference in how it rubs my armpit. Perhaps it’s due to the wave style bra having more support in the center and that putting more pressure into my armpit area? Not sure! Regardless – I think this bra just wasn’t a good fit for my particular body, and would be a great choice for someone else.

The Deep V Mesh bra is closer to a style that I’d usually pick out. Less coverage, especially in the center. If you have close-set breasts (meaning less space between them than some other women) deep V or plunge style bras can be a more comfortable option, as is the case for me. This bra dips in the middle and has a light mesh over the top which is another detail to bras that I like, because a small mesh panel can adjust to your size a little bit more than a full coverage bra can, which can be nice if you are at all asymetrical (as most women are).
I was somewhat between sizes on the size chart, and was sent both sizes to try and the smaller is the better fit for me, for now. However, I’m excited to also have the next size up because I plan to try to conceive this summer and will likely get some use of of the larger sized bra when pregnant or postpartum. Each bra also comes with an extender piece, so if the cup portion fits well but the band is too small you can lengthen it!

In my bra size, it’s common for bras to come with just two, or sometimes even just one, row of hooks. The bands on these are 3 wide, which gives them extra support, yet the material has some give to it so they don’t feel stiff or leave you feeling constricted. I find the Deep V mesh bra so comfortable that I could probably sleep in it if I wanted to. Yet, it gives me enough coverage and support to wear at any time.
LUCKMEEY donates 1% of their profits to Pink Ribbon, which contributes to breast cancer prevention and treatment.
Win it: LUCKMEEY is offering a set of two bras to one winner. They’ll reveive one deep v neck mesh bra in “black” and one wave bra in “skin”. Winner will be able to choose the size they need. This giveaway is open to the US and will end June 2nd, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Enter using the GT form below.
