Stocking stuffers can be tricky. I don’t like to get cheap junk that will be thrown away or broken by the end of the day but I don’t want to spend a fortune either. Well, our kids actually prefer to steal my husbands or mine when they are really young but I prefer they have their own. I used to find the whole situation funny when the toddlers would carry daddy’s around the house, chew on it, and scrub the floor with it but our current toddler has taken a liking to mine. Definitely time to get him his own! Not only is it more hygienic for us all to have our own, I like that i Play., Inc. has created an infant friendly brush that is BPA, PVC, and Nitrosamine free.
The final stocking stuffer idea that I want to share is the Training Underwear. Definitely not one of my most favorite parenting tasks, but potty training comes with the territory. I actually prefer to wait until the child is ready and they basically train themselves after I introduce them. It has worked with our first three kids and they were all trained by their third birthdays but once we make the leap, we do not use diapers at all. We go cold turkey straight to underwear and it’s nice to have training ones that are slightly thicker than normal.
