My husband has a gross wallet. It is old, dirty, worn and full of stuff. He has had this wallet for as long as I can remember and we have been together for 14 years. He doesn’t just use his wallet for currency, ID and credit cards like most people. His is more of a mobile filing cabinet; with scratch paper notes, receipts, business cards, currency, ID and credit cards. I wanted to surprise him with a new leather wallet this Christmas. I was impressed when I found the Tusk company.
Tusk offers high-end leather bags and accessories for men and women. They combine top grain leather with exquisite designs. For my review, I received a men’s Leonardo Billfold with ID Window; and like most women, I decided to also surprise myself with a new Capri Double Zip Clutch wallet!
The Leonardo Billfold with ID Window is constructed with Italian kidskin. It has four card slots and two larger compartments for currency, business cards, or whatever you choose. It measures 4.25”L x 3.25” H.
My husband’s Leonardo Billfold with ID Window is black and tan. I like this color combination; I think it looks both masculine and refined. The feeling of the leather is like nothing I have ever felt before; it is silky smooth. The card slots and pockets feel sturdy. I suspect this wallet is going to hold up well over time.
The Capri Double Zip Clutch is also made with smooth Italian kidskin. It is a double zipper clutch with checkbook, an outside open pocket and an exterior zipper pocket. The inside features 12 card slots, an ID window and 2 zipper pockets. There is a lot of room in this wallet making it a handy clutch or an organized wallet. The Capri Double Zip Clutch is 7.5”L x 3.5”H.
I received the Capri Double Zip Clutch in red and orange. I like the colors a lot; they are optimistic and cheerful. I love the attention to detail placed in designing the Capri Double Zip Clutch. I am particularly impressed with the metal zippers, they are high quality and strong. I can see why Oprah named the Capri Double Zip Clutch her favorite wallet.
I am pleased with both of our Tusk wallets. They are beautiful, made with high quality Italian kidskin leather and have amazing craftsmanship. For these reasons, I think Tusk wallets make great holiday gifts for men and women. I know my husband is going to be thrilled when he opens his wallet on Christmas morning.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us.
