*I was provided with Zip Bins from Neat Oh in return for this post. All opinions are my own.

My nephew Drew is 3 and he loves cars. My step dad has a stock car that he races at a local track and Drew loves to go and regularly incorporates part of the race track experience into his play. For example, he likes to say that one of the cars “spun the other car out” and then the car that got hit “has to go to the pits” etc. Whenever I tag along to doctors appointments, baby showers or any other setting where I know we might find ourselves in a situation where Drew might get bored I always suggest that he bring a few cars. We’ve played cars just about everywhere and sometimes it makes the wait a lot more enjoyable for all.

When I discovered that Neat Oh! Makes Zip Bins which are fabric that zip up into a bag or box and can store toys inside I thought they were a neat idea. Then I got to the car themed ones that unzip to reveal a  race track inside and I was sold – I knew Drew would love these.

The Full Throttle Small Town Toy Box folds up square and unfolds to display a town that includes a police station, fire station, school house, bridge and more. It almost reminds me of those rugs that are made for car toys, except this is a smaller, more affordable option and then it folds up to be used as a storage bin too! There are handles on either end of the box so it can be taken on the go. I think this would be great for using to store car toys regularly and then maybe take to sleep overs or something like that. Each one comes with a toy car, mine was a firetruck but it can vary.

The Full Throttle Street Racer Bring Along Backpack is a car-shaped, child size backpack that unfolds to reveal a two lane road (racing strip) and then at the end has a garage type area with spare tires, etc. I think Drew will think that area is “the pits” so I’m sure he’ll love this set. The backpack is small enough that it’s manageable for him at 3 so he can bring his toys along all on his own. I can see him dragging this one absolutely everywhere. I think its size and the fact that its a backpack makes it super portable which makes this one my favorite of the three. It comes with a car, ours was a red sports car.

The Hot Wheels ZipBin Ramp It Up folds into a cube and when unfolded it has orange tracks that look like hot wheels sets. The coolest part of this ZipBin is that when unfolded, there are two ramps at either side that can be turned inward OR outward. When flipped outward, you can place a Hot Wheels on top of the ramps and gravity will pull them into the center. If flipped inward, you can push the cars up the ramps to try to get them to jump over the gap that is created between the ramps. Or siblings and friends could put one car on either ramp and then push them at the same time to make them crash in the middle. It comes with an authentic hot wheels car.

If you don’t have a car loving kiddo in your life, there are Zip Bins for other interests too such as dinosaur, farm animal, lego and dollhouse bins just to name a few. Most Zip Bins have a suggested retail price of $12.99-$24.99 and Amazon currently has several on sale.
