Learning Resources is a great company that offers over 1,100 high quality educational products. Their mission is to support both parents and teachers by providing educational tools, toys, and products, all the while, suppling an engaging learning experience. Learning Resources sent me a sample so I could provide my honest review.
The Learning Resources Stack ’em Up Doughnuts is part of their new 2014 product line up. Geared for ages 2+, this set includes: stacking stand with a plate bottom, four chunky doughnuts, and a donut hole for the top. The largest doughnut measures about 5 inches and the smallest, donut hole, is about 2 inches. None of the pieces are very small and I’d feel comfortable allowing a child under two to play with supervision.
Learning Resources did a great job including lots of great colors to make this an eye catching set. The Stack ’em Up Doughnuts makes great practice with fine motor skills. Plus, kids tend to love stacking things. Our 18 month old all the way up to our 8 1/2 year old are enjoying this toy. Someone seems to be playing with it constantly.
This is a great re-make version of the old style classic stacking tower everyone I knew grew up with. It was a hit back then and it’s a hit today.
Learning Resources offers a wide selection of produce in their “Smart Snacks” line up. From ABC Lacing Sweets, Counting Cookies, Count ’em Up Popcorn, Trail Mix, Piece A Pizza Fractions, Sorting Cupcakes, and more. Their delicious selection covers many different learning skills.
