Singing and dancing go hand in hand with learning. Children tend to be quite receptive to music, bright colors, and fun which is why The GiggleBellies have combined all those great qualities into their Musical Adventures. The upbeat music brings an added element to perfectly connect The GiggleBellies creative world full of colors to our children’s imaginations. I was sent The GiggleBellies Ultimate Fan Pack to facilitate this review and share my honest opinions.
Founded in 2009, The GiggleBellies are well-known for fun, whimsical, entertaining music videos that are geared for the preschool age group. The GiggleBellies are becoming increasingly more popular and have even won many different Awards and Recommendations, totaling over 30, since their creation.
Somehow, I am just learning about The GiggleBellies. After watching the DVDs, I realized a few of the songs are familiar and I know I’ve heard them somewhere before but this was our first true GiggleBellies experience. We decided to start at the beginning with Volume 1 because I still wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Our kids scurried over to the couch and settled in to check them out. All four kids were enthralled throughout but once it was over, our 6 year old was confused as to if it was supposed to be all songs or if there was more. Since we don’t have any television channels, we have never watched music videos so this was new territory for our kids. Even with his confusion, the kids were begging to watch another GiggleBellies DVD right away.
The Peanut Plush became a fast favorite with all the kids as well but the 3 year old won out with ownership. This is the first stuffed animal that he was so adamant about so we let him claim Peanut. Since his arrival, Peanut has attended some outings with us as well as been an integral part of bedtime.

All of our kids, from the 8 year old down to the 19 month old, are enjoying The GiggleBellies. They love to alternate between bouncing around and dancing to the music and resting while they enjoy the colorful town and animals. The consensus seems to be that the favorite song is “Peanut”, however, our children lovingly refer to it as the “I Love Peanuts” song. I really like the energy that The GiggleBellies seem to encourage and the fact that many of the songs are familiar tunes with a fun spin on them.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
