I received products from Winning Moves for my review. All opinions are my own.

Most kids already love bath time but there are instances when young ones need a little enticement to jump into the tub especially if they’re already tired before bedtime.  What fun to get clean and have fun at the same time.

That’s what is happening around our home now that Winning Moves provided us with four sets of their Splash Card games.  These are card games that can be played in a pool, bathtub, hot tub, or outside during one of our famous never-ending Oregon rainstorms. Lol

For our review, we received Splash Jack Royal, Splash Pals, Splash Jack, and Splashimals.  Splash Jack Royal is geared toward players ages 10 and older while the other Splash card games focus on toddlers (ages 2-3).

These games arrived in our afternoon mail delivery and we didn’t want to wait until bath time so we decided to play Splash Pals on the coffee table.   It was great fun trying to come up with a head, body and feet that made up the highest scoring character.  I won’t tell you more because I want you to enjoy coming up with your own amazing characters.  We may not have followed the game instructions exactly but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  I was playing with a 7-year old so even though the game may be designed for toddlers, older kids will laugh out loud at some of the results.  This game is great for letting players release their creative juices.

Splash Jack is a deck of playing cards where the Queen is an octopus, the Jack is a tortoise, etc.  You can use these cards to play Go Fish, Rummy, Spoons or anything else you can dream up.

Splashimals is a deck of cards that include the front half of various animals and the back half.  The idea is to either match the cards so you have a complete animal or come up with an animal of your own!   This game teaches creativity, recognition, and reading skills.

Splash Jack Royal is designed for players 10 years of age and up.  Picture playing a game of Slap Jack in the hot tub or Solitaire during a nice relaxing evening soak in the tub.

Another game we received from Winning Moves is Touring…the Original Auto Race Game.  This is a game that has been a favorite since it was originally released in 1906.  Be the first player to complete your trip but be careful…you may run out of gas or have a flat tire along the way!   Unlike the Splash Card sets, Touring is not intended for play in/around water.

An added bonus that made me happy was that because the Splash cards are water safe, even if they aren’t played in a tub/pool/hot tub, if they’re played with little sticky fingers, they can be wiped clean.
