Our family loves to play games. We have three generations of game players. Not only do we play games in our separate family units but also in group situations such as camping trips or holiday get-togethers. That brings us to Love Tenzi. I Love Tenzi has games for a wide range of ages and interests.

I received a collection of I Love Tenzi games for my review including Tenzi, Pairzi, Slapzi, Bulidzi, Risky Itzi, and Itzi. Aren’t those names fun?

Tenzi is a dice game. All players get ten dice. Someone says, “Go”  and then everyone rolls their dice as fast as they can until someone gets all their dice on the same number and shouts “TENZI.” There are a lot of ways to play. Grab a deck of 77 Ways To Play TENZI for ideas. We use our game to make important family decisions, like who has to do the dishes, who gets to do the recycling, and so on. We have had a lot of fun with Tenzi over the year that we have had it.

Pairzi players are competing to see who finds the most matching pairs of Critter Cards. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Before you can look for Critter Cards you must roll a pair with your dice. For example, if you roll two 3’s for example, you get to find 3 pairs of Critter Cards. Then back to rolling your dice. Roll a pair of 5’s, you get to find 5 pairs of Critter Cards. Roll a pair, and find your pairs.

Slapzi is a game of speed. This I Love Tenzi game has 120 picture cards and 65 clue cards. The idea is to be the first player to match a picture card to the clue card.

Buildzi is a fast-stacking, nerve-racking, block-building game! Quick, grab a Buildzi block and start building. To win, you must be the first to build your tower. The game comes with 32 Buildzi blocks, 32 tower cards, and 32 block cards. There are many ways to play. Buildzi accommodates two to four players.

Risky Itzy (17+ age group) has you coming up with answers to clues that are given to you on a card. There are 120 clue cards and to help you solve the puzzle on those clue cards, there are 75 letter cards. This is a game of speed so players need to think fast when they come up with their somewhat shocking answers.

Itzi is another game of speed. Like with Risky Itzy, Itzy comes with 120 clue cards and 75-letter cards. The game is played the same as Ricky Itzi but the responses are not quite as “adult” in nature because the clue cards are much tamer and more conservative.
