Winter seems to be dragging on and on and on. Most of the snow is gone but the weather is gray and cold and rainy. I can’t wait for the grass to be green and fluffy again, for flowers to bloom, for trees to grow their lushious foliage again. Spring is meant to be bright and colorful. Although I can’t push Mother Nature along, I can zoom into Spring by choosing to add color to my daughter’s wardrobe with Zutano‘s beautiful and vibrant clothes!

Ever since my first daughter was a baby, I’ve been one of Zutano’s biggest fans. I can’t say enough about their clothes! I know that from reading this review, you’ll probably think to yourself that I’m exagerating because it sounds too good to be true but I mean every single compliment. Zutano uses only the best quality materials and natural fibers for their clothes and it really shows. Not only are the fabrics easy to care for (machine washable and dryer safe), they also last longer without fading and stretching. All the Zutano clothes I had for my first daughter are still in perfect condition for my second daughter to wear, except for navy blue shirt that slightly faded after many washes.

I also find that the texture of their interlock cotton is very soft and slightly thicker which probably explains its durability and as an added bonus, I find their clothes made from this interlock cotton (such as t-shirts and dresses) don’t wrinkle nearly as much as other cotton clothes. I can basically take them straight from the dryer and put them on my daughters. Kind of a nice perk (*cough*  especially when you left clothes in the dryer overnight!)

Another great feature about Zutano’s clothes is how colorful they are. They are masters in creating fun prints and using bold colors in unique ways. Every season brings new colors and designs. They offer lots of variety in their prints and color combinations and they have a unique mix-and-match design philosophy that means you can create any outfit you’d like and you’ll be certain that the colors will go well together. It makes each piece very versatile since it can be worn in many different ways.

When you combine quality, durability, ease of care, versatility and style, no wonder Zutano is such a renowned brand of children’s clothes. But it doesn’t stop there. Zutano is constantly adding new products that have the same flair and fun prints as their clothes. They have toys including plush toys, dolls, and rattles. They also offer many nursery decor items including lamps, mobiles, wall art, crib bedding, and even furniture! They have also partnered with another famous baby company: Aden & Anais. The collection called Zutano Just For Aden combines both companies’ strengths to create a unique line of swaddle blankets, bibs, towels, and washcloth that combine Zutano’s bold prints and Aden & Anais’ muslin.

I bet by now you’re curious to see what I received for this review. Zutano spoiled me with the following 2 outfits from the Elephantasia collection, accessories and toys:

For my oldest daughter, I received the Elephantasia Baby Banded Waist Dress with Pool Candy Stripe Toddler Skinny Leggings and a Pink Sun Hat to complete the look (the picture below is the Hot Pink Candy Stripe Sun Hat because the solid pink one isn’t listed on their website at the moment). The dress is so cute! The print is covered in multi-colored flowers and plants and blue elephants. My daughter loves it and wants to wear it all the time. As for the leggings, we had a pair in a different color that she wore all the time until she unfortunately outgrew it so I was excited to receive another pair. They are super comfortable, stretch well, and have a trendy fitted cut. It can be worn with the dress or with a t-shirt or camisole. It’s a very versatile piece. I also like how the stripe fabric on the upper part of the dress is the same fabric as the leggings. As for the sun hat, we’ve had many Zutano sun hats so far and they are some of our favorites! We like them because they offer good coverage, aren’t too floppy, stay in place well and match with our Zutano clothes. For my youngest, I received the Elephantasia Baby Short Sleeve Body Wrap with Elephantasia Baby Pants and a Pool Candy Stripe Baby Sun Hat. The Body Wrap is an interesting design. It reminds me on a kimono in the way that it wraps but it stays in place well because there are 2 snaps on the inner flap and 2 more on the top flap. It makes it easy to take on and off because you don’t have to pull it over baby’s head. The pants are generously sized and accommodate my somewhat bulky cloth diapers. I like how they each have a distinct outfit yet they match together. It creates 2 very polished yet totally wearable looks. Each girl also received a toy. We got the Owl Plush and a Zoe Doll (blonde). The Owl is incredibly soft and has cute hearts on its tummy. It measures 12” and it perfect to cuddle at naptime and bedtime. The Zoe Doll is inspired by the classic rag doll but with a modern twist. She’s soft and squishy which makes her easy to hold even for my 6-month-old. Her dress resembles my daughter’s dress and can be taken off and put back on.

And last but not least, we received a 4-pack of Swaddle Plus Multi-Use Blankets . These blankets are made of soft and light muslin and have colorful Zutano designs on them. In this pack, there are 4 prints: a butterfly print, a floral, Owls and a pink stripe. It’s a nice change from the typically light colored muslin blankets. The blankets are large (44” by 44”) and the fabric is very breathable which makes them ideal for swaddling (reduces the risk of overheating) but they are my favorite go-to blankets for everything! I always have one in my diaper bag that I can use to wrap my baby when she falls asleep. It’s also a burp cloth, a nursing cover, a tummy time blanket, a stroller cover. Oh and it’s been used to swaddle our Zoe Doll so even she can sleep comfortably!
