The days are getting shorter and the weather is cooling down fast here in Minnesota. When it’s almost dark by 5 pm, I know Winter is coming fast. So I’m starting to prepare by getting our Winter gear organized. That typically includes hats, gloves, boots, coats, scarves, and more. However, this year will be a little different. This year, we’ll be using Olie’s Minkeys. The Minkey is so awesome that I was thrilled to share it with you!
The Minkeys are made from 100% fleece and available in several different options and sizes. The styles available include: the regular Minkey, Minkey with Ears, Dinosaur Minkey, or Flower Minky. I really like their two new styles, the Dinosaur and Flower. So cute! The Minkey is easy to put on. It slides over the child’s head and then the arms need to be slipped into the sleeves. A coat is then easily worn over the top of the Minkey. A really great feature is that the “mitts” can be on or off but yet never lost!
I am really in love with the Minkey. It’s been really convenient to have just one product instead of a whole pile of things. It’s especially great for the car in Winter too because the kids are usually chilly since we take their coats off to buckle up. The Minkey keeps them warm while still being safe in the car seat. The fact that the Minkey is machine washable makes these even more kid-friendly and fantastic. I just can’t say enough good things about this product. I highly encourage everyone with young children to check the Minkey out!
Olie also offers a range of adorable Baby Bloomers in several colors and patterns for kids infant through about 3. We received a Baby Pink Satin Bloomer for our baby. It’s frilly and cute with a big pink bow. The Bloomers would look great for photos or under dresses. I’m going to hunt for an adorable top to match for our daughter’s 6 month professional photos.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
