The old saying goes, “A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” While that may not be completely true, great food never hurts! My husband typically says I’m a pretty good cook but I’ve been known to have some flops too. Early in our marriage, I served up some burned food that he ate gladly with a smile to show his appreciation and love. The longer we’ve been married, though, the more honest he’s become. After multiple fails with chicken noodle soup, he has told me that it’s okay if I don’t want to make soup any more….. (I’ve taken that hint and now I only stick with my Taco Soup that he loves.) I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

These look fancy enough to put in a gift basket and Father’s Day would be a good one to give it at too. I like trying different mustards but many times just go with a yogurt topping if I don’t have pre-made condiments.
