I can still remember my very first Bible I received as a child. My parents gave both my sister and I one for Christmas one year. Mine had a shiny black cover and I was so happy to have my own. The elation wore off as I tried to read it and struggled since it was a King James version. As I grew older, I was really happy to learn there were other versions available which really helps for some to be able to understand easier. I know that I personally have found several versions that have been great for me, although I do still have a King James version in my possession as well.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters.
