Most of the time, I dislike shopping for kids clothing at big box stores. Everyone ends up with the exact same thing with the typical brands and logos front and center. Instead, I love finding unique pieces for our little one to wear. So I tend to look towards small businesses to deliver what I’m looking for. Enter: Darling Baby Shop.
As I was viewing the pieces offered at Darling Baby Shop, I fell in love with the simplicity and styles offered. Their pieces are unique, fun, and truly adorable. It was a hard choice but I settled on the Baby Animal Friends Fawn Short Romper and matching Pink Fawn Baby Animal Headband.
I’ll start off by telling you how absolutely precious the Pink Fawn Baby Animal Matching Headband is. It truly makes the outfit pop as it’s so unique. The delicate looking ears surrounded by pretty blossoms, all on a stretchy and comfortable headband make it the perfect accessory. Each flower is handmade as well as the ears. It’s so sweet that it really could be paired with any outfit to create a long lasting photograph memory.
The Romper is also darling. Created from a custom print made exclusively for Darling Baby Shop, the 100% Cotton Jersey Fabric is slightly stretchy and soft. I found this piece to run fairly true to size or perhaps just a little on the smaller side. I choose the 18-24 month size as our little girl is almost 19 months and it fits her perfectly. I do like that the top is secured by a sweet tie which allows the size to be slightly customized.
As you can see, attention to details is very important to Darling Baby Shop. Even from behind, this set is stunning! From the lace on the back of the ears to the all-over fawn design on the back of the romper, it’s a great set that we love.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I make fabric flower accessories, so this caught my attention. Everything here is so cute! and looks very well made, too! I never tried adding fawn’s ears to a headband – cute!
