I love subscription boxes of almost all kinds. It’s so fun to know that you have a surprise coming in the mail, and to wait for the mailman to come on the day when you know your subscription box will be arriving. I have tried out subscription boxes from several product categories including pets, beauty, personal care and more. I was excited to learn that Panty Drop is a subscription service for women’s underwear. Clothing is probably my favorite item to buy and my favorite gift to receive as well.
In my opinion, Panty Drop has the perfect mix between allowing input and creating as surprise. I had considered trying other panty subscription box services, but I chose Panty Drop because they allow you to choose style (thong, bikini or a mix) and material (cotton, performance synthetics or a mix) which I loved because if you love thongs you can get all thongs, or if you only wear cotton panties you can have that catered as well. Or, if you wear a variety of styles and materials you can get a variety.
I chose bikini cotton underwear for my subscription. Each subscription includes 3 pairs. There are two price points, regular or premium. Regular includes brands like Honeydew intimates, DKNY and Calvin Klein. Premium includes higher end brands such as Commando, Hanky Panky and Cosabella. My subscription was the ‘regular’ one.
My subscription came in a small box with a regular shipping label so your kids, the mailman or others who happen to see the package won’t know it’s panties. Inside of the box there was a Panty Drop logo sticker on the top flap, and another one sealing the tissue paper that wrapped the panties inside. I love how it felt like a gift!
When I unwrapped the tissue I was excited to see a pair of lacy black panties on top. I love lace and love the color black. These are a pair of Ashley Bikini panties from Honeydew and sell for $12 on the Honeydew website. Most of the front is single-layer lace but the back and the area between the legs are solid fabric. The lace panel on front as well as the lace edges are soft to the touch.
The next pair was another one from the Honeydew brand, these are the Ahna Hipster. They are solid fabric in front and back, with soft lace around the waistband and leg holes. The second pair was also from the Ahna Hipster brand at Honeydew but in a different print. All three pair fit great, look flattering and I love the coloring. I feel like all three pair have a nice color scheme that is bold enough to be fun and not plain without being too young to look immature. I wasn’t familiar with the honeydew brand before but I love all three pair that came in my Panty Drop box so I’ll have to buy more from the Honeydew brand in the future.
Often times with subscription box items the items feel cheap for what you pay for the box. I was able to see online that each of the 3 pairs retails for $12, so I feel like I got a bargain considering the subscription box is $34 when I got a $36 value in just panties alone, not including shipping. It’s clear to me that Panty Drop is ensuring that they send high quality, valuable panties to their subscribers instead of sending cheap panties so they can take advantage of a large profit margin, and I really respect that.
My birthday is still over 2 months away but I’ve already been dropping obvious hints to my boyfriend Ryan that I want a Panty Drop subscription for my birthday. I loved the panties chosen for me, the surprise, the quality and the fit so I’d love to get this box regularly.

That the lady started the company because she realized she was too busy to shop for underwear and apparently alot of people are too.. I guess I get that.. But yea sometimes I’m too busy to shop for underwear and you have to try them on because all don’t fit the same.. So yea I may love this!!
