It doesn’t matter what age you are. Everyone learns through play. As an adult, when something is turned into a fun experience or game, I am able to learn and retain so much better. So it’s no secret that children also learn through hands on experience, fun, and games. So I love hearing when Blue Orange Games releases new products as they are always fun and perfect for building on important skills.
This fast paced game of fruit matching fun has players matching fruits to a number or numbers to a fruit. We actually play with the cards alone, although tokens are included too. Fast Flip is a great brain teasing game that encourages quick thinking, matching, and focus. Geared for ages 7 and up, we’ve found that even our (almost) 4 year old and 5 1/2 year old have been able to play along without much trouble. No matter what card ends up being flipped, the distribution of fruits on the cards guarantees there will always be a correct match. The kids really love the Spot It games Blue Orange Games used to offer and Fast Flip reminds us of an updated version.

Another brain teasing and boosting game newly released by Blue Orange Games is Dr. Eureka. Get ready for him to challenge you to solve his scientific formulas. The three test tubes and six colorful balls offer up a challenge to players. Carefully transfer from tube to tube to match the challenge cards without dropping any! Dr. Eureka is geared for ages 8 and up and can accommodate one to four players. Fun for the whole family, Dr. Eureka is a challenging and creative concept game.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. BlueOrange games has a good variety of games. It’s great that they are bringing the fames to children in hospitals, etc in other countries. Very nice!
I am the science person in the family (nurse) and would love the Dr. Eureka game for the whole family. The Fast Flip looks like the younger crowd would like it. I also like the colorful fruits on the cards promoting healthy food choices.
