Thank you to Winning Moves for providing me with product in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.

My family loves playing games. We are always adding to our game cabinets. As the girls get older, it is fun to try more mature games.

One of my favorite place to go for new games is Winning Moves games. For my review, I received a generous collection of family games including- Scrabble, Pass The Pigs, Fish Fish Squish, Guess who, Brainspin, and Rubiks Cube.

I don’t think my kids have ever played Scrabble. I am going to gift my Scrabble to-go game to my almost ten-year-old daughter. She loves spelling. Scrabble will be a great game for her to practice spelling, learn new vocabulary and even work on problem-solving skills. I can imagine our family sitting around the fire playing this game.

Brainspin is a new game to me. It is a game of creativity and can be played by anyone ages seven and up. A card in the Brainspin deck is revealed to all players. Players write down everything they see in the image on the card. You must convince your opponents of what you see on the card. I haven’t had a chance to play Brainspin. I can imagine this is also a fun game for a large group of friends. I think it would be fun to take on a camping trip.

In a game of Pass The Pigs, players take turns rolling the pigs. Depending on how the pigs land, players earn points. Be careful not to roll a ”pig out!” The player with the most points win. Pass The Pig is one of those games where the more people you have playing, the more fun it is! I think I will break this game out after our Thanksgiving feast. We are expecting about seventeen family members at our home.

Fish Fish Squish is a fun game of memory. Players take turns flipping over the cards. If three different fish are revealed in a row, that player gets to squish a fish on their opponents card. The player with the most fish remaining wins. Fish Fish Squish is suggested for kids ages five and up. Two to four players can play at a time.

My younger daughter loves playing Disney Guess Who. We have played it so much, our game is starting to fall apart. I am going to gift her a new Guess Who game. She has never seen this version of Guess Who. In my opinion, it is a more mature version of the game. It helps kids learn to recognize details and be observant. It also helps them use clues to solve problems. She is going to love it!

Rubiks Cubes are a classic game of problem-solving. My almost ten-year-old nephew recently discovered Rubiks Cubes. Like many kids, he tore apart the Rubiks Cube he was playing with and then put it back together in the right order. I was teasing him about cheating. He had to give the Rubiks Cube back to its owner so, I decided to get him the Rubik’s 4×4 Cube for Christmas. He is going to sigh with exasperation and then he is going to LOVE it!
