This past week, Minnesota went from sunny and warm to cold and even a bit snowy, back to a bright sunshine day again. While the air is still a little too brisk for my liking and I want our 60+ degree weather back, I couldn’t help but celebrate that sun again by breaking in my new pair of Bokos USA Sandals.

I was just recently on the hunt for a great pair of summer sandals that I could utilize all summer long. Being a stay-at-home mom/farmer, I needed a pair that I could slip on quickly but that would be comfortable enough to wear for hours and hit the beach in. Plus, I wanted something that looked cute too. So when I saw Bokos’ design, they seemed to fit the bill and I was super excited to try them out for myself.
Both durable and versatile, Bokos Sandals offer a unique, one piece design and are constructed from a non-porous rubber material. Their simple design allows for an easy to clean sandal that can be worn anywhere. Plus, I love how flexible they are!
These sandals offer great features including being both anti-odor and stain resistant. They are also anti-slip, which I find to be very important. However, the biggest thing for me is comfort. If a pair of shoes isn’t comfortable, I just won’t wear them. So no matter how cute a shoe may be, comfort is of upmost importance and I’m happy to say that my Bokos are indeed comfortable!
One thing that I always worry about with buying footwear online is sizing. In the description on the Bokos site, it says that half sizes in men should size up while half sizes in women should size down. I find that extremely accurate. I typically wear a size 8 so I went with that while my daughter got a size 7. While I found that I could have ordered either size for myself, as they both fit, the 8 is a little bit more comfortable for me while the 7 is perfect for my daughter.
I really love that Bokos Sandals are affordably priced at under $20 a pair! Which leads me to also sharing that they offer a variety of color options. I think this is awesome because their affordable price allows for customers to get multiple colors. (I’m actually wearing the size 7 in the pictures because the Melon color my daughter chose matched my shirt! So I have a feeling that we’ll be sharing back and forth depending on what each of us is wearing on any particular day.)

I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I wear a size 11 so it’s difficult for me to find comfy shows. These flops look super comfortable would would be worn ALL the time in this hot Florida weather.
