The name of this company should really be holey delicious donuts. They are so yummy! I couldn’t believe they are low fat or healthy at all because they taste just as good as ‘regular’ donuts. Better than a lot of ones i’ve had, actually! These do NOT taste like diet-donuts!
Oops, I’m getting ahead of myself a little! They are delicious, but I wanted to throw in that when my holey donuts arrived, they were frozen. I don’t think I had ever had donuts that had been previously frozen before, but it didn’t seem like a good sign to me at first. However, this didn’t seem to affect the taste of them at all, because they were really good!
I was sent three boxes. One box was full of jumbo reduced fat blueberry vanilla cinnamon buns (image is above, taken from the holey donuts website), and I list them first because they were my favorite. They were SO delicious! I actually miss them now that I’m talking about them! The weird thing is they didn’t taste overly blueberryish or vanilla. But man, they were amazing.
Another box that I was sent was full of Low Fat Cinnamon Strudel donuts. These were my second favorite, but also really yummy. As a kid I would put both cinnamon and sugar on buttered toast – these are basically like that only in a donut. Really good! These were my boyfriends favorites.
Another box we were sent had a mixed variety in them. To be honest I’m not totally sure, but I believe it was ‘sampler c’ which is pictured below.
I personally didn’t try any in the assortment box, but my boyfriend and his friend did and there certainly weren’t aint complaints! I’m not a fan of jelly filled donuts, and I wasn’t sure which of these had jelly in them so that’s why I avoided this box.
Overall we are VERY pleased with holey donuts and would definitely recommend them to anyone. They are super yummy, especially for being healthy!
