I feel chatty today. This post will probably end up being really random. Oh well :).
Today I had to go back to school because my spring break ended. Bummer. Only five weeks left though. I’m so ready to be done. After this semester i’m changing schools. The school that I go to now is a private college and is insanely expensive. I’m going to go to a community college this summer and next year, to save some money. I never really wanted to go to the school I’m at anyway, it’s just the school that’s in my town and I don’t have a car so I had no real choice. However, I am getting a car very soon. Yay!
I’m hoping to have better luck at my next school socially. I don’t have any friends at my current school. I feel much older than the kids in my classes. Which is weird because I’m younger than almost all of them. They just seem to base their lives around drinking, smoking, partying..etc. Where as I am in a committed relationship and don’t care to go to huge parties and stuff. It’s an odd thing because I’m very happy with my choices, I just wish that it didn’t mean that I couldn’t relate to the people in my classes because I would like to have close friends that I get to see everyday.
I’m changing majors too, which might help. Perhaps I’ll be more likely to find people ‘like me’ now that my major is more fitting for me. Lets hope so :).
My boyfriends buddy is working on starting a photography business, and he was going to go buy fabric for a backdrop, and I remembered this retailmenot.com coupon that was for 50 percent off something, so I had them print it off and it worked and everything. So that’s our first coupon success story. Hopefully many more in the future :). Though just before I decided to try and get into couponing we bought a TON of groceries, so we won’t be needing any for a long time. But my boyfriends birthday is coming up so maybe I’ll buy him something at a store with a coupon. haha. He needs new shoes really bad. He wants slip on ones kind of like these
except a cheaper brand, probably. Anyone know shoe stores with slip on shoes similar to vans that are cheap or have coupons? haha.
Our nephews due to be born Saturday! His mama is ready for him today though. Hehe.
I think I might go catch a nap. It’s so hard to get back into the swing of things after a week off! So glad I only have 5 weeks of school left 🙂
