Warm buddy is an awesome company that makes heat therapy products and spa products. Their heat therapy products can be used to help relax, or as alternatives to heating pads or cold packs.
I was sent a body wrap (pictured above and love it! It’s a great alternative for your traditional electric heating pad, and also doubles as a cold pack if you leave it in the freezer. One of my favorite things about this is there’s no cord attached, like your traditional heating pad – which is great because I’ve always hated how I get tangled up in the cord if I want to lay down with a heating pad and decide to change from back to belly, or move around. That of course isn’t an issue with this. Plus it smells great :). Another benefit of warm buddy products in comparison to regular heating pads, is the herbs and grains inside are heavy – which feels GREAT on my shoulders or back – I feel like the added weight/pressure helps a lot when I’m sore. I love warming my body wrap up before bed, I love cuddling up with it – I’m one of those people who are always cold so I love anything warm! I did find that the tag says to warm the pack for a max of 3 minutes, and it was still really not that hot, at all. I could easy lay it on my bare skin without feeling overheated – so I put it in for five minute sand it’s been doing fine, though you aren’t suppose to do that. However, I took the tiny pack out of the wooly buddy I was sent, and it says a max of 30 seconds, and I put it in for two minutes and it smelled SUPER burnt and yucky at first, and I’ve used it a few times since then and it still stinks even though i’ve febreezed it and such. So be careful with not following the heating rules. I wish there was a way to get them as warm as I’d like them without damaging them.

I haven’t found that any of the kids in my life have really interacted much with the wooly buddy, but perhaps this is because they aren’t really stuffed animal lovers? I only tried to ‘tes them out’ with the wooly buddy during play though, perhaps they would take to it much more if it was offered when they were hurt or in pain, instead of offering them a traditional hot or cool pack? (Thankfully) haven’t had any of my kiddos get injured or have ear aches or anything like that lately, so haven’t tried it. I have however LOVED the size of the pack inside the wooly buddy – it’s about the size of my hand so I warm it up before my 8am class when it’s still cold out in the morning, and sit and hold it during my class (I don’t have to take notes in that class, thankfully, hehe). Is a great hand warmer – which I love because my ahnds are always ice cold, and this is so comforting at 8am when it’s cold and I’m tired. Hehe.
