South of France is a company that makes natural body care products. Their products work and smell great, and they don’t contain any of the ‘bad’ ingredients that you would find in most body care products. South of france products are free of: Phthalates, Paraben, sodium lauryl/lareth sulfate and EDTA. Plus, south of france doesn’t test on animals or use animal ingredients in their products.

The first Item I received were a few french milled bar soaps various scents. These aren’t your average soap bar for a few reasons. The first, and most noticeable reason is they are really big! Typical bars of soap are around 3.5 oz each, and these are 8.8 ounces! Definitely generous in size. Another difference between typical soap and south of france soap is the ingredients. South of france soap is gluten free, soy free and vegan. I can easily pronounce every item listed in the ingredients list, I love knowing what the ingredients are without having to look them up.  The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable! Plus, these soaps smell way better than the typical ‘soap’ smell, and work just as well. I feel very clean without feeling like my skin is being dryed out. There’s nothing I don’t like about these!

I also received a couple of containers of liquid handsoap. The bottles are plastic but don’t contain BPA or phthalate. I set one of these up in my bathroom adn the other on my kitchen sink and have been using both regularly for a while, I love them and they do a good job of keepin my hands moisturized. I often have dry hands in the winter from doing dishes and such, but I haven’t experienced that yet this year. Of course, I’m not sure how much of that I can say is due to south of france products, but I know that this definitely isn’t a drying soap and I love knowing that it’s good for me, animal friends and the environment all at the same time. I also received a body wash from south of france.
I’m not in the habit of using body washes, I typically use bar soap but I used this for the sake of reviewing it and I’ve actually really enjoyed it. It’s easier to use because it’s in a pump and it smells great. Like all the other south of france products, it’s vegan and isn’t drying.

The last item I got for review was body lotion. I am really picky about lotion, if it feels greasy to me at all I can’t use it. I am somewhat of a texture person and have hangups about certain textures. This passed the test though! It isn’t too thick or too greasy, and it seems to work great.

Overall I was very pleased with all of the south of france products I received. They work great and I feel better using them because I know they are better for me, the environment and animals. The only tip for improvement would be to increase the variety of scents. I am kinda picky about scents so I’d love to see some of my favorites.
