Every guy should own some well fitting dress clothes. You never know when a wedding, job interview etc will pop up. Ryan videotapes a lot of weddings in the summer so he is often in need of dress clothes. I’m really picky about dress clothes for young men though, because I think most dress clothes look men look old – really old. Green or blue dress pants? Old man! That basically leaves khaki or black, and khaki’s often come off as too casual. So when you’re limited to black dress pants, you need a lot of style and variety in the top half of your outfit. That’s where 191 unlimited comes in. They make  stylish dress clothes for men, that certainly appear dressy and “serious”, yet they have a lot more personality than your typical dress shirt from a department store. Most dress shirts are styled exactly the same, so something as little as a unique cuff or collar style can really add variety to your wardrobe. We were sent two dress shirts for Ryan to try out. Most of their shirts are designed to fit slim, so we ordered a size larger than usual. They fit Ryan pretty well, they are a bit bigger than his other shirts, but I think if we had ordered his regular size they would have been tighter than he would have liked. Be sure to take the fit into consideration when purchasing. Both shirts were really well received. The first shirt we reviewed is the rude boy shirt. It’s a black long sleeved dress shirt with lots of little details that really set it apart. Most notably, the shoulder snaps. The arm has neat buttons with a black and white swirl design on them. The snap on the cuff features a red and black design. I love the placement of the buttons. Some of Ryan’s dress shirts have odd placement, where it’s hard to decide which button(s) to snap and which ones to leave open. It seems like if you button it up, it appears to tight in the neck – yet if you leave it undone too much chest hair shows. 191 unlimited realized this problem and has placed its top buttons in a much more logical way, so you don’t have to debate which buttons to close. Another major bonus of this shirt is it’s machine washable – love it!

We were also sent the dazed and confused dress shirt for review. This shirt is white and blue striped and plays tricks with your eyes if you stare at it for too long. This shirt also features a well placed button that doesn’t choke you or reveal too much chest hair.

I love how Ryan can add personality and variety to his dress clothes while still looking professional. We’ll definitely be keeping 191 unlimited in mind for the future. They have boys dress shirts, too!
