Summer is finally here and so is the warm weather. When you’re heading outside with kids, there are UV rays to worry about. Not just in terms of skin protection, but also their eyes. For older kids, sunglasses are fun to wear and even fashionable. For babies, it can be a more difficult task to keep
their tiny baby sunglasses on them. Baby Banz are an innovative type of sunglasses for kids ages 0-5 (available in two sizes, 0-2 and 2-5). Instead of sitting behind the ears, baby banz feature an elastic band that wraps around the head. With baby banz, kids can run around and play without struggling to keep their sunglasses in place. The elastic band has velcrow, so the strap can be custom fit to your child’s head. The nose area and the top of the lenses has a small bit of padding, allowing the glasses to comfortably rest against your child’s face securely, without causing discomfort. I tried out a pair of baby banz in the 0-2 size on my 10 month old nephew. Right now he’s really drawn to eyeglases of all kinds, and seems to have a particular interest in playing with other peoples sunglasses. Of course, most adult sunglasses don’t make for the best chew toy option, but the baby banz are durable and flexible, making them safe for him to pull on, drag and chew on. Plus, they are super adorable on him while protecting his eyes. Drew is wearing the rockin red baby banz, but there are 25 total color options to choose from.
