We’ve shown you lots of products for kids and adults so far, but very little that is suitable for babies and young toddlers under 2 or 2.5. I find the 1 year olds hard to buy for as they are too young for baby toys but too young for anything small that they will put in their mouthes. I was sent the bright starts swirl and roll truck for review. This toy is suitable for ages 6 to 36 months. It’s kind of like a cement truck, and the inside portion of the back holds the balls that come with the truck. When pushed, the inside spins and spits the balls out the back. My 21 month old nephew is very interested in toys that allow him to repeat cause and effect relationships. The swirl and roll truck was right up his ally as it allowed him to put the balls inside, push the truck and watch them come out. He enjoyed doing this over and over. It’s also a great toy for my 16 month old nephew who is really interested in all toys that light up and/or play music. The cap of the truck has buttons that light up and make noise so he was sold on this truck from the start. This is a great toy for the baby on your list and is priced around 20.00 at toys r us. I’ve done a few reviews for bright starts items and have been impressed with all of them. I’m really growing fond of this brand. The truck requires two AA batteries and includes 4 balls total.
