We are now accepting sponsors for our 2012 holiday gift guide! Our gift guide will run November 1st through December 15th. We are looking to include gift ideas for the following categories:
Men
Women
Teens
Children
Toddlers
Babies
Stocking Stuffers
Pets
Some items we will be testing and reviewing like usual. Other items we will be accepting but not testing on our own, but instead writing about the product based on the website description and product packaging. We are going to refer to this type of post as a feature. Our hope is that allowing some items to be featured instead of reviewed will keep things running efficiently during the hectic holiday season. If you have a preference as to whether your item is reviewed or featured, let us know.
Each company who sends us a review item will get a review or featured post (250 word minimum) that includes photos of the item, a description of its features and our suggestion for who the product would make a good holiday gift for. The post will include links to the sponsors website, Facebook and Twitter. We will be accepting sponsors who only are interested in a review or feature as well as those who are interested in providing a review/feature item as well as a product for giveaway. If you provide a giveaway item we will include your Facebook and twitter onto the giveaway widget so that you gain new fans/followers.
For sponsors who qualify, we’ll be providing additional promotion:
Sponsors who provide a review or feature item that has a retail value of $75+ will get their review/feature blog post as well as 30 days worth of sidebar space. This will be a 125 by 125 image ad in our sidebar in the ‘buttons’ header.
Sponsors who provide a review/feature item valued at $75 as well as a giveaway item valued at $50 or more will get their review/feature post as well as the sidebar space AND will be included in our ‘gift ideas for ____’ blog posts. Our plan is to publish these posts in early December and include posts for men, women, teens, etc.
For all advertisement listed above, we are happy to accept 2+ lower value items to meet the minimum values required for the additional promotion.
