When shopping online, have you ever seen a website offer an area to input voucher codes? For a long time, I thought voucher code was the same thing as a gift card code. Then one day I was shopping online and saw one area that allowed for a voucher code with a different section for a gift card code.
Most of the time, voucher code refers to something similar to a gift certificate – a pre-paid value that can be spent at a given store which is usually put on a piece of paper instead of a plastic card. Gift cards on the other hand tend to be plastic.
If you have someone who is hard to buy for, gift cards can be a great way of making sure that they get themselves a gift without needing to know exactly what they would like to buy. Marks and Spencer is an online store that offers gifts for men, women, kids, the home and more. If you purchase Marks and Spencer vouchers your recipient can use them in the UK based retail stores. If you aren’t in the UK, you can instead purchase their plastic gift cards which can be sent directly to the recipient and they can use them online. The gift cards will expire 24 months after their purchase date so your loved one will have plenty of time to decide what to purchase with their gift card.
If I were sent a marks and spencer voucher code or gift card I’d use it to get this really unique candle called the Daisy Mini Inclusion Candle. I love how it has grass and a Daisy “trapped” inside of the candle. Daisys have always been my favorite flower but you don’t see them on products or gifts very often so I thought this candle was really neat.
I could also find gifts for loved ones at marks and spencers. My 2 year old nephew loves music of all kinds, including music that he can make on his own. The My First Musical Piano Toy sold at Marks and Spencer would be perfect for him I bet.
