My family has a unique make up, as I have nieces and nephews who are rather close in age with me. My oldest sister is 23 years older than me, so I wound up growing up with my nephew who is 22 months younger than me and a niece who is 3 years younger than me. The three of us were pretty close growing up, and when my nephew was around three or four and became interested in watching wrestling (his mom had been a big fan for years) my niece and I quickly became his rather unwilling, uninterested opponents. It took a few years but eventually we convinced him that watching wrestling on TV is a better idea than using us as his targets.
After a while, I began to incorporate his wrestling action figures into our doll play. He really appreciated being able to be something cool instead of being forced to be Ken, so he was willing to play more often which I loved. Our relationship to watching wrestling wound up being beneficial for all.
If you or your kids are into WWE, you’ll want to know about the sale and WWE sweepstakes going on thanks to Kmart and WWE Fan Central. If you head to Kmart and spend $30 on WWE gear, you’ll get a limited edition Wrestlemania chair for $79.99 (Regular price is $129.99). Before you head to the store, sign up with a shop your way rewards account (if you don’t yet have one) and check out the other available offers. I love shopping at Kmart because it’s a great place to save money with coupons and deals. Plus, they are having a sweepstakes where the prize is four tickets to see Wrestlemania live in New Jersey on April 7. The winner will also get a $200 Kmart gift card and Fan Axxess to see their favorite Superstars.
This is a sponsored post. I am a Kmart blogger, though all opinions are my own.
