Sassy style cards giveaway (open worldwide!)

Cards are one of the items that I have a love/hate relationship with. I love receiving a card from someone that really sums up our relationship or seems really heartfelt. However, more often than not cards seem like an item that people feel forced to buy for special occasions, yet they stop at the store 10 minutes before the birthday party, wedding, etc to grab one and run. More often than not the words don't seem to come from them and the card doesn't seem personal. And from the buying end, Read more [...]

You should set up email subscriptions. Yes, you!

It happens to me daily, or close to daily. I find a new blog, browse around, like it and then search for the box to type in my email to subscribe. Not there. I search for a 'sign up for email updates' button. Not there. I look under the 'rss' button, 'email' isn't an option. So I just leave, disappointed. Even if you have just 15 followers, I beg you to set up email subscriptions. I only follow blogs by email and SO many blogs don't have email set up, it drives me batty. Please set up email subscriptions Read more [...]

Giveaways extended (2 low entry)

My cousins wedding is Saturday, and I'm a bridesmaid. Tomorrow at noon I have to be at the hall to decorate, then there's the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and all of the girls from the wedding party are staying at my cousins overnight because we have to be at the salon by 8am to start getting hair/make up done. So anyway once I leave tomorrow around 11am I won't be back until sometime Sunday. So the giveaways are being extended until then. The Yoo hoo giveaway is at 106 entries and the virgin Read more [...]

Alo athletic clothing review and giveaway

I didn't use to work out at all but about 2 months ago I started a routine. At first I would wear pajamas, but quickly found out that they are inconvenient for workouts. Shirts with sleeves are hot, while strappy pj shirts or camisoles have straps that fall. Wearing traditional bras and doing workouts on the floor is really painful when the clasp digs into your back. You get the idea 🙂 I started researching eco-friendly companies that make athletic wear and came across Alo. Alo stands for Read more [...]

Igo power smart wall review

Igo is one of my fantastic blogmania sponsors! So although this is just a review post there is a giveaway coming up in about a month. Igo is a company who makes lots of variations of chargers, including several items that are part of their green line which aim to conserve energy and save you money. I'm sure that many of you have heard that if a device is plugged in, it's constantly using power even if the item isn't on. So for example if you leave your cell phone charger plugged in constantly, Read more [...]

Kidz Bop review

I remember in middle school my friend had a few of the kidz bop cds and I was so jealous of her! They've been around for quite a while now and kidz bop 18 recently came out. My little sister is 7 and likes to listen to popular music like taylor swift and miley cirus. I thought that she'd really like these cds, and they would be better for her than the regular cds that have swear words. Instead of just being silent or beeping out swear words or sexual terms they simply replace them with a more Read more [...]

Kettleworx review

*There is an affiliate link in this post. I was sent the Kettleworx system for review. Have you heard of the workout program called Kettleworx? I had seen it on tv before, and I really hate infomercials. Honestly, when I see an infomercial I assume whatever is being advertised is junk. Especially when it comes to exercise programs and workouts. So when I saw that kettleworx had sponsored some reviews on other blogs, I was really surprised. I feel that companies who are willing to offer a product Read more [...]
