okay I have to stop myself now or I will sit and show you all the pictures that mineral basics have! mineral basics was generous enough to send me samples of 15 different kinds of their mineral make up. I had never used mineral make up at all before, so I was really surprised! I couldn’t believe how different the foundation felt. I expected it to feel like any other powdered foundation – but not at all. I don’t usually use foundation at all, just because I hate the heavy feeling of it. I couldn’t stand to wear liquid foundation so the only kind I’ve used is powder – but even it feels so heavy and pore-clogging to me. But the mineral basics foundation felt very light and almost like I was just barely dusted with it. and it evened out my complexion really well still, which surprised me seems how it felt so light.
I also received some eye shadows and although they mostly felt the same as any other eye shadow, I was surprised at how little I needed to use to have the colors be vibrant and cover my entire eye. I hate how I feel like I need to put on four or five layers of other eye shadows to get them to start to show up well.
a cool thin about the multi-use mineral make up is it can be added to lip gloss to be a lip color, or used dry as an eye shadow, or used wet to be an eyeliner! So I had ordered their regular black and got it wet to use it as an eyeliner and it worked great and stayed on all day while I was at school.
