I have heard stories about schools banning the use of hand sanitizer in elementary schools after young kids eat the hand sanitizer and get sick. Of course, most of us wouldn’t expect elementary age children to try eating it, but it does have a unique smell and is dangerous when consumed due to the high alcohol content. Prefense is an alcohol free hand sanitizer that is safe to use around children. It comes in a small bottle but it produces a foam and the small 8oz bottle lasts for 640 pumps. Plus, each time you use it it works for up to 24 hours or through up to ten hand washes. When using the prefense, I found that it feels different than other hand sanditizers that i’ve used in the past. Mainly, it feels dryer in the sense that it dries really quickly on my hands. With other hand sanitizers, I end up rubbing around my hands a few times and then spreading it on my wrists or onto my leg, etc just to “get rid of” the remaining sanitizer that won’t absorb into my hands. With prefense, it absorbs and dries very quickly so it just is enough to cover my hands and that’s it, which is great because I don’t end up wasting the sanitizer on my legs, wrists, etc.
