I love companies and items that are eco-friendly. It seems as if more and more people are valuing “green” companies these days, just like me. Wine Barrel Concepts is a company that is very eco-friendly. They re-purpose wine barrels into various different items, from wine racks to decorative items, to dog beds. Each item is unique, modern, stylish, and you can feel great about owning one, knowing it’s completely recycled from an old wine barrel.

I received the Votive Candle Holder from Wine Barrel Concepts to review:

The Votive Candle Holder is quite large. It fits on my fireplace mantle perfectly. This holder has space for five candles, but it also comes in a smaller size, with space for 3 candles, which I think would be perfect to put on a coffee table. The Votive Candle Holder came with the glass candle holders, as well as votive candles, which was a great surprise. I was pleased to be able to try it out right away, and didn’t have to go buy candles for it.

The wood itself is beautiful. The candle holder comes in various wood finishes. Mine is fairly dark, with a nice hint of red to the wood, the burnt sienna finish. It’s also incredibly sturdy. Wine barrels are made from excellent quality wood, so you know that each item from Wine Barrel Concepts is going to be a quality, sturdy piece. Even if I did not have it on the fireplace, I know I wouldn’t have to worry about my pets knocking it over and breaking it. I’ve gotten many compliments on this candle holder since I’ve put it up on my mantle, and there isn’t a negative thing about it. It’s pretty, it’s chic, and eco-friendly. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Overall, I really liked my Wine Barrel Concepts Votive Candle Holder, and I also really like the Wine Barrel Concepts company. I love the idea of re-purposing old wine barrels, and I really enjoyed my high quality item from them. I would definitely recommend them. I think the Votive Candle Holder makes a great addition to any home.
