As the holidays approach, I am always stumped on what to get a few people on my list.  Either they already have everything or don’t seem to want or need anything.  Do we all have these types of people to buy for?  When I become stumped, I start thinking practical and/or edible.  I already make goodie plates filled to the brim with homemade goodies (cookies, candies, fudges, and more) for everyone at the beginning of December so I like to find companies with something special to offer when I give gifts on Christmas.  I recently came across the company, California Delicious, and was able to partner with them for this review.

I was pleased to see that California Delicious carries some oldies but goodies in the chocolate, coffee, and tea areas but that they also carry some unique spa baskets and gourmet gifts as well.  I was sent the Kosher Treats Gift Tower and the Ghirardelli Chocolate Assortment Gift Basket.

 The Kosher Treats gift tower comes in stunning shiny blue gift boxes and sealed with a ribbon and bow.  The presentation is so beautiful that there is no need for additional wrapping if giving as a gift.  Inside, each box contains a different gourmet treat.  The treats range from Caramel Gourmet Popcorn and Too Good Gourmet Snickerdoodle Cookies to the chocolate treats of Ghirardelli Box of Milk Chocolate Squares, Guylian Chocolate Seashells, and Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers.  This is truly a tower of goodness with enough variety to please everyone.  Everything we have tried has been delicious.  While my favorite is the Caramel Gourmet Popcorn Mix, my husbands is the Snickerdoodle Cookies.

The Ghirardelli Chocolate Assortment Basket is just as prettily displayed and the perfect gift for any chocolate fan.  (Hint: Me!)   This particular basket assortment contains Ghirardelli Masterpiece Chocolates, Ghirardelli Caramel Bar, and a Ghirardelli Bag of Premium Assortment.  Every Christmas I enjoy Ghirardelli products.  It’s the one time a year I give myself permission to purchase them for myself so this basket is definitely up my alley.  I typically share all my goodies and treats with my husband and children, however, the bag of milk and caramel squares is safely hidden away so I can enjoy them slowly by myself.  If left out, my husband would have the whole basket gone in one day.  However, with the quality and taste that Ghirardelli brings, who can blame him.
