Nursing moms shouldn’t have to compromise and nor be limited to a few boring styles when it comes to nursing bras. Considering that it is recommended moms breastfeed for 6 months exclusively, then in conjunction with solid food for at least 2 years (according to the World Health Organization), it’s not like we have to give up our sense of style for only a couple weeks. We’re talking months and years! How depressing is the thought of having to wear white or nude bras all the time? Everybody knows a sexy bra goes a long way toward feeling sexy which can be very beneficial when you’re having one of those hectic days (*cough* weeks?!!)

So here’s one brand of maternity and nursing lingerie what won’t let you feel drab and dull: You! Lingerie. I reviewed another bra a few months back and until the underwire popped out, it was my absolute favorite bra! I wore it all the time – which might explain why it’s now damaged. 🙁

You! Lingerie released a couple new models recently: the London bra, which has gray and white stripes, and the Paris bra, which has black and white stripes. Both models have molded softcups (no underwire). They are made of a cotton and spandex blend but the signature hot pink layer that touches the breast is 100% cotton for maximum comfort.

I received the London bra to review. First of all, the design is really cute. I like that even though there is no lace, it’s still a very playful and pretty bra. The pop of color with the hot pink bows and nursing clips as well as the blue straps really bring this bra to life! Speaking of straps, they are wide and stretchy and I find them very comfortable. Even after wearing the bra for a whole day, they don’t dig into my skin nor leave nasty red marks.

In terms of fit, it is quite supportive despite the fact that it doesn’t have underwire. I was a little confused at first when I placed my order because my bra size changed recently. I have to say the team at You! Lingerie was very helpful. The fact that they are knowledgeable and willing to help is definitely important especially when making a purchase online and made me feel confident I would get the right size and best fit possible.

Because it is designed for comfort, this bra has a wide underbust band and a 3-hook back closure with 4 settings. This means you’ll be able to get a great fit throughout pregnancy and later when nursing. This is a nice feature because your body will go through major changes both before and after baby comes and you’ll be thankful for the easy adjustment and support. The nursing clips are also easily accessible and can be undone with one hand.

Overall, I really like this comfy yet stylish nursing bra. I am so thankful that You! Lingerie understands that while we choose to breastfeed, we shouldn’t have to choose between style and practicality when it comes to nursing bras.
