Most of you probably know by now that I have an 18-month-old daughter. What might surprise you is that I still breastfeed her a couple times a day. I was one of the lucky ones for whom breastfeeding was fairly easy and I decided from the beginning that I would try and do it for at least 2 years. I am also currently pregnant and my daughter will be just under 2 when Baby no. 2 comes along. I also plan to breastfeed Baby no. 2 for at least 2 years as well if everything goes well.

If I reach my goal, that’ll be 4 years of breastfeeding straight which I am totally fine with except for one little detail: 4 years in nursing bras!

Why oh why is it so difficult to find pretty nursing bras? All the ones I could find at my local stores were boring white or nude with the occasional black bra and they all cost an arm and a leg.

Luckily, I found You! Lingerie, which offers a range of stylish, and may I add sexy, maternity and nursing bras. It’s nice to know that there are people out there who understand that being pregnant and breastfeeding doesn’t mean we lose all sense of style. We still want to look pretty and feel good about ourselves, right?

You! Lingerie offers not only beautiful maternity and nursing bras but also has matching panties and maternity and nursing tank tops. Their products are fun and full of cute details like bows and lace yet their price is still very affordable, especially when you compare them with other nursing bras. I was thrilled when I found out that they also carry bras in all sorts of great colors like pink, aqua, lavender, etc. They also come in many sizes from B to H cups.

For this review, I received a Flirty You! Bra from the Basically You! Collection. It’s a pale golden nude color with lace matching lace. Just like all other You! Lingerie products, this bra is accented with their Signature Hot Pink color. The nursing clips, and decorative bows, cup lining are a vibrant shade of pink. Another important detail about the lining is that it is seamless and made of 100% very soft cotton fabric so you don’t have to worry about it rubbing on and chaffing your delicate skin.

The design of this bra is beautiful. It has plunge-drop cups and with the lace and bows, you pretty much forget is a nursing bra until you need to use it.

You! Lingerie doesn’t only create beautiful bras. They also make sure they are super comfortable and functional. The cups are molded and seamless which means they are very discreet even if you need to use breast pads. This model comes without underwire for cup sizes B, C, and some D cups and with soft flexi-wire for cup sizes 36D, 38D, and cup sizes E, F, G, and H. Because I have a larger breast, I got the soft flexi-wire model and I love it. It fits perfectly and stays in place very well.

The wide underbust elastic helps for sure. It’s powerful but stretchy and supportive enough to remain very comfortable throughout the day. This bra has wide satin straps that also ensure ultimate comfort. For someone like me with a larger breast, this really makes a big difference in terms of how comfortable the bra is. The last thing you want are aching red marks on your shoulder before lunch time when you have to care for a little one! Another comfort feature is the 4-hook back closure designed to accommodate an expanding rib cage. Obviously, this is very important unless you plan on buying multiple sizes of bras throughout your pregnancy and even post delivery.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my new You! Lingerie bra. The look, the fit, the comfort, it’s just perfect and I know this will be my favorite bra for the many months of pregnancy and breastfeeding I have ahead of me.
