Infant car seats are heavy. Once you add the baby, I find it almost impossible to lug around. Even when shopping, if I do bring the seat in, it takes up the entire bottom part of my cart and there is very little room for the items I went to buy. So my motto has basically become “Car seats are made for the car and babies are made to be held.” By holding, I actually mean baby wearing. I love just holding our children but when I need to get something done, am out shopping, or just need some hands free time, I turn to baby wearing. I recently came across the company Hip Baby Wrap and they partnered with me to bring you a review and giveaway.
I was sent a Hip Baby Wrap in Tropical. The colors on this 100% cotton wrap are bold, beautiful, and will definitely have me wearing my baby in style. Instructions stated that I should wash and dry the wrap before using for the first time so I followed their care instructions and did so. While the Hip Baby Wraps are able to be washed, it is not recommended to do it too often. After the initial washing, the material was slightly softer and more flexible. Included with the wrap is an instruction booklet that shows several different ways to wrap and carry. Even though I’m still pregnant, I had fun practicing the different ways. The diagrams were extremely helpful as well.
Geared for babies from 8 pounds up to 35 pounds, I’m excited to have this beautiful wrap on hand especially during the newborn stage. I have found that baby wearing, especially when out running errands, keeps strangers at bay and prevents unwanted touching/germ sharing.

Hi Katie,
Yes it is. 🙂 That’s a stock photo because our baby isn’t here yet. While I did practice different ways of wrapping (as you can see above) my big belly just doesn’t quite look the same as a baby or doll. So I included that stock photo too.

I love this tropical print that you have posted. I had no idea they were so expensive though. I bet during holidays they might have a special so they’re a bit more affordable for some.
